Details:

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant on a part time basis to join their team based in Aviemore. This is a part time role for approximately 2-3 days per week with a degree of flexibility towards the pattern of hours flexible to suit.

Duties include:

  • Preparation of accounts using Xero.
  • Creating budget models using MS Excel.
  • Overseeing and reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Assisting with budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
  • Calculation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Compilation of payroll.
  • General bookkeeping duties.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Person specification:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts/bookkeeping role.
  • Part or fully qualified Accountant (or qualified by experience in a similar role).
  • Strong IT skills including knowledge of financial software systems.
  • Experience of Xero preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
