  • Our client, a leading accounting firm in Axminster, is seeking a motivated and eager AAT Accounting Technician to join their team on a Permanent basis.
  • This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work towards a Level 3 and Level 4 AAT qualification.
  • Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, mastering accounting software, assisting with tax computations, and developing analytical skills.

Our client, a leading accounting firm in Axminster,is seeking a motivated and eagerAAT Accounting Technicianto join their growing team on aPermanentbasis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while earning a recognised professional AAT qualification.

Youll study towards a Level 3 and Level 4 AAT qualification; our client will be providing support throughout your training whilst paying your normal salary on the days you are in the office or studying.


Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports, returns, and information for a diverse clientele.

Master accounting software to record financial transactions efficiently.

Assist with personal and company tax computations, VAT returns and bookkeeping.

Develop analytical skills by gathering and reporting financial data to support informed decision-making.


Experience and Qualifications.

Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers.

Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for daily tasks.

Confidently express yourself verbally and in writing.

Deliver accurate work consistently and on time.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing studies and work effectively.

A strong academic record demonstrating your ability to learn is a plus (good GCSEs, A-Levels are great, but our client consider all relevant qualifications)
