Butler Rose is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager to join a growing, medium-sized chartered accountancy firm based in Aylesbury, working on a diverse client portfolio.

The firm has been growing steadily and is committed to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining a strong internal culture. About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing audit team, where you'll work closely with senior partners to deliver high-quality audit, accounts, and corporate tax services. The firm is well-established and has a broad portfolio of clients, including family-owned businesses, charities, not-for-profits, and international groups. You will manage a team of juniors and seniors, ensuring audits are completed efficiently and in line with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise audit teams, including seniors, semi-seniors, and juniors.
  • Oversee audits and accounts preparation for a range of clients.
  • Review tax work alongside the Tax Director.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure the delivery of exceptional service.

Client Portfolio:

  • Mix of UK subsidiaries with overseas parents, family-owned businesses, and a specialism in charity and not-for-profit.
  • Clients ranging from smaller UK companies to large international groups.
  • All clients are within a 45-minute radius of the Aylesbury office, with no stay-away work required.

Team and Culture:

  • The firm has a collaborative team of 9 people in the audit department, with a relaxed and supportive management style.
  • The firm offers a flexible working environment, with seniors and above having the ability to work 60% in the office and 40% from home.
