This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a profitable SME that specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke high-tech products. The company is embarking on an ambitious five-year growth strategy, and you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and process improvements. About the Role:Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly and annual management accounts, maintaining financial control, and supporting the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:Oversee general ledger and financial accounting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, cost analysis, and variance reporting. Work closely with operational teams to improve financial processes and embed Finance within business operations. Manage and develop a small Finance team. Ensure the accuracy of cash flow forecasting and reporting, working alongside the Cash Manager. Administer the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency. Oversee statutory reporting including VAT, ONS, and other regulatory requirements. Drive process and system improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance financial efficiency. About You: Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE, with at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong financial control experience, with a methodical and data-driven approach. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. A collaborative leader who can build relationships across departments and influence business decisions.
