  • IPS Group is partnering with a growing Insurance Intermediary to recruit a Group Financial Controller. The role requires a qualified Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a Controllership position within a multi-entity structure, preferably in the Insurance sector. Key responsibilities include preparing Group Financial Statements, producing management reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing trading cash resources. The position also involves overseeing a finance team and collaborating on the company's financial strategy. The salary for this role is competitive, reflecting the seniority and expertise required.

IPS Group are exclusively partnered with an ambitious and growing Insurance Intermediary who are recruiting a Finance leader to join their team as Group Financial Controller. They are seeking a commercially astute Accountant who has a proven track record of operating strategically to support Business Units and Executives as well as improving the Financial Control encironment.

Main Responsibilities:- Lead preparation of Group Financial Statements (Income Statements, Consolidated Balance Sheet and Cashflow Reporting).- Produce management reports that identify key financial performance metrics and wider business health indicators. - Play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Group adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines namely FCA/RMAR submissions. - Manage the company's trading cash resources to ensure adequate liquidity and optimal working capital. Oversee cost-based initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability, including monitoring and controlling operational expenses of existing and acquired entities before and after migration. - Collaborate in the development of the company's financial framework and strategy to take an active lead with the planning/budgeting/forecasting processes. - Manage a finance team (four direct reports) as well as managing external stakeholder relationships - banking partners, lenders, executive committees and regulators.

Candidate Specification:- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS)- Experience of working in an Insurance environment (preferrably Broking/Intermediary). - 5+ years experience of operating in an Controllership level position with a multi-entity, Group structure.
