Work Placement Officer

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Aylesbury.
Role Purpose
- Source high-quality, sustainable work experience and industry placements for learners aged 16 and over.
- Act as the main contact for employers while they host students on work placements.
- Collaborate with learners, employers, and staff to help students achieve their career goals.
Main Duties
- Collaborate with staff to ensure placements help students develop relevant work and technical skills.
- Develop new placement opportunities and ensure timely, effective communication with employers to maintain satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with employers and agencies.
- Monitor students' attendance and progress during work placements, supporting their development.
- Work with external partners, employers, and agencies.
- Keep the CRM updated with past, current, and potential work placements.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional setting with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to drive and access to a car
- Level 2 English & Maths, or willingness to obtain
- Strong IT skills
- Able to pass a DBS check
- No previous convictions
