Established firm of Consulting Engineers are looking to recruit an experienced Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer. You will have an excellent track record of structural building engineering design, diagnosing building defects and clearly setting out repair specifications. You will join a team based in offices in Buckinghamshire with some opportunity to work from home. The firm is small and you will join at a senior level with the clear opportunity of career progression.

You will have at least 5 years experience working at a senior level, ideally in a small to medium sized practice with demonstrable people management experience and skills. As this is a senior position it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate success in business generation within the industry.

As a seasoned operator, it is expected you will have the ability to see projects through from initial brief to completion, often multitasking numerous projects simultaneously mainly undertaking of detailed forensic building defect surveys and reporting.

As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will assist the directors in mentoring graduate engineers to become Chartered and provide support to the Directors in the running of the company.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Chartered Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Watford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Oxford, Reading, Slough or be willing to relocate.
