Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Design Manager:

  • Substantial UK based experience in an Architectural role.
  • Lead the architectural design process for new builds, refurbishments, and commercial-to-residential conversions, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire codes, health and safety standards, and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop and present detailed feasibility studies independently.
  • Contribute to planning applications by producing presentation materials and enhancing design and access statements.
  • Extensive experience in commercial property development or fit-out projects.
  • A strong ability to design practical, occupier-focused spaces with creative flair.
  • Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes for commercial properties.
  • Proven experience in preparing and supporting planning applications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
