The team specialises in general commercial, property, construction, manufacturing, and life sciences, alongside bespoke schemes business. Your new Brokers are part of larger national Brokers with offices based throughout the UK, they are recognised for their awards and success and are an excellent Broker of choice. Your new Brokers offer an experienced group of insurance professionals who are committed to offer a personalised and high-quality service. They pride themselves having a client centric approach and a role in fostering strong relationships within the community. Due to growth within their Commercial SME team, a permanent role for an SME Account Handler or Account Executive has arisen. This role is based in Buckinghamshire with the opportunity of hybrid working 3 days in the office.Your new roleYour new role as an SME Account Executive means you will play a vital role in managing and growing a portfolio of SME clients, delivering expert insurance solutions, and contributing to the success of the SME, e-trade and specialist Schemes.
Your ability to build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide high-quality service will be key to achieving business growth and client retention. Duties will include building strong relationships with both client and Insurer, acting as the primary contact, ensuring client portfolios remain relevant through regular reviews as well as identifying opportunities, generating leads and driving growth by offering tailored commercial insurance solutions. Further duties will also include overseeing renewals, negotiating competitive terms, ensuring policies reflect evolving client needs, working closely with colleagues and contributing to team success, sharing industry insights to enhance service standards and staying updated on market trends.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as an SME Account Handler or a Personal Lines Account handler who wishes to move into SME Commercial will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have experience within the insurance sector, handling Personal Lines, or Commercial insurance or E-Trade package policies . Ideally, you will be Cert CII qualified or willingness to work towards it and have experience using Acturis or similar systems. This role requires a proactive approach to client retention, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
