Join a leading distributor in the European Personal Care industry as a Technical Sales Account Manager. This role is ideal for an experienced sales representative with scientific background, who is  passionate about Personal Care products and eager to develop their sales skills while meeting key industry players. You will have the opportunity to drive business growth using your knowledge and creativity in a dynamic and innovative sector.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of our wide range of Personal Care ingredients, including their chemistry, benefits, and formulation characteristics.
  • Visit various UK customers to develop long-term working relationships with their R&D, Purchasing, and Marketing teams.
  • Communicate scientific information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrate our ingredients in prototype formulations to showcase our portfolio to customers.
  • Gather and share trends information to help our R&D team develop market trend presentations.
  • Attend relevant industry events, such as UK and Global exhibitions.
  • Develop strategies and growth plans for customer accounts, seeking out new business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong scientific education, preferably a degree in a scientific subject.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience working in Sales and client account management , ideally 3-5 years in either the Personal Care or related product sector.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability and aspiration to travel.
