Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to join our client's dynamic finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of financial processes, supporting daily and month-end tasks, reconciliations, and reporting. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while assisting in the smooth operation of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily and Month-End Processes:Assist with accruals, prepayments, financial reporting, and system administration. Support the finance team in delivering accurate and timely data in accordance with deadlines.

Reconciliation and Analysis:Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, including Premiums, Claims, Expenses, Reassurance, Tax, and other financial transactions. Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.

Collaboration and Query Resolution:Liaise with other departments to resolve financial queries and improve process efficiency.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:Process invoices, expense claims, and payment runs. Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with VAT returns.

Cash Management:Review daily funding requirements to ensure bank accounts are maintained at the agreed levels.

Process Improvement:Maintain and update process and procedure notes to reflect best practices.

Ad-Hoc Support:Assist the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Detail-Oriented and Organised:Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Analytical Skills:Capable of analysing and reconciling data using financial systems, third-party portals, and other software. Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
