Join a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer, as a Business Development Manager. With over 40 years of excellence, this company are dedicated to turning product ideas into reality, ensuring customer success through on-time delivery of PCBAs, final assemblies, and full turnkey box-build solutions. This role is pivotal in driving growth across three UK factories located in Windsor, Haddenham, and Basildon.
Day-to-day of the role:- Generate leads using all available tools and professional networks.
- Secure meetings and visits with prospective customers.
- Follow up on enquiries and opportunities, serving as the first point of contact.
- Produce and ensure on-time delivery of proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Develop strong relationships with factory teams and facilitate prospective customer visits.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of our services and the competitive landscape.
- Work closely with the factory NPI teams to integrate new customers smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and information in our CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of Contract Manufacturing, including electro-mechanical assembly, PCBA manufacturing, and component sourcing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior management.
- Proficient in presenting complex technical data to stakeholders and potential business owners.
- Demonstrated resilience and agility in overcoming business development challenges.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative spirit, willing to work with all internal departments to share insights and coordinate on development timelines.
- Knowledge of global sourcing and supply chain solutions.
- Must have a clean, full UK driving licence and an up-to-date passport.
