You'll be reporting into the owner of the business to learn the intricacies of the day-to-day, and with some real succession plans in place, this could not only be your next job, but the one after that too.

What's the job?

This versatile role will see you doing a bit of everything.

You'll be managing the day to day running of the nursery and growing operations.

They work with a huge variety of plants on site at any one time, some traded stock and some own grown, so you'll be utilising your plant knowledge every day.

They've recently had some exciting business developments which is great news for you. They want you to say your opinions, produce ideas and help drive this new project forward.

This role will see you supervising a team of six.

It's a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

What will I have done?

You'll be coming in with an understanding of hardy ornamental growing, and be comfortable utilising this knowledge, along with your spray certificates, to develop the team.

As well as being plant oriented, it also has a big people element. You'll be managing a team, working with the owner, and dealing with trade customers, so communication is key.

You'll be driven, wanting to further your own career as well as help develop the business.
