They are looking for a Structural Engineer with strong Project Management skills to join their team in the Buckinghamshire area on a permanent basis.     The Structural Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experienced working on masonry support / facades / architecture 
  • 2 or more years’ industry experience ideally working in a similar role within structural design
  • Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar 
  • Strong CAD skills, experienced with AutoCAD or Revit for design
  • Confident knowledge of building/construction codes and structural disciplines 
  • Able to manage design projects from concept to delivery 
  • Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry 
  • Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Structural Engineer role will involve:
  • Being responsible for the design and development of various products and structures
  • Managing your own projects from concept through to completion 
  • Using CAD and structural analysis software on a day-to-day basis
  • Developing ideas from concept to production 
  • Creating models/prototypes
  • Liaising with clients and developing solutions
  • Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects 
  • Maintaining technical drawings and documentation 
  • Providing technical guidance and support
