Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our precision engineering CNC workshop. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a setter/operator and be familiar with Haas, Heidenhain, and/or Siemens controls.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components
  • Interpret engineering drawings and program machines accordingly
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
  • Monitor the production process and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or production processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a setter/operator in a precision engineering CNC workshop
  • Proficiency in using Haas, Heidenhain, and/or Siemens controls
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and program machines accordingly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Day-to-day
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components. You will interpret engineering drawings, program machines, and monitor the production process to ensure high-quality output. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
