CNC Turner Programmer
We are working with a global leader who have been established for 60 years and specialise gear, shafts and machined components for the aerospace, F1, Motorsport, Medical, Marine etc. We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join the team.
Key skills required of the CNC Turner Programmer:
- Previous experience with CNC Turning minimum of 4 years
- Experience of setting and operating - minimum 4 years
- Must have minimum of 4 years experience of programming
- Ability to read technical drawings - minimum 5 years
- Experience Fanuc controls
- Any experience/knowledge of Doosan and Nakamura Fanuc and NT smart iGuide Edgecam to produce complex precision components will advantageous
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of machining processes, and programming languages.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to machining and manufacturing processes
The successful CNC Turner will be primarily involved in working within a shop floor environment, you will have regular interaction with machinery and equipment, requiring adherence to safety protocols. The role may involve occasional lifting of heavy objects. In return my client will reward you with an excellent basic salary, free onsite parking and company benefits to be confirmed.
Shift patterns are:
Early shift 6am to 2.15pm Mon Thurs and 6am to 10.30am
Late Shift Monday to Thursday -1400 to 0015
The shifts to be confirmed after the interview but our client are seeking candidates mainly for the late shift and you will work the early shift for the probation period.
