With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they consistently deliver high-quality services to clients and contribute to the advancement of the industry on a global scale.Your new role:With delegated authority as the NEC Supervisor for the SEALR Project, you will ensure successful delivery for the Council. You will work closely with the Contractor to guarantee that the product quality aligns with the Specification. Additionally, you will collaborate with the wider contract administration team to validate data for assessing the Contractor's performance.Attend meetings as requested by the Project Manager.Ensure the Contractor complies with the Contract Specification Testing & Certification requirements and promote best practices within the Delivery Team.Monitor the Contractor's operations for adherence to the Specification and oversee the documentation of daily activities (plant, personnel, crews, weather, etc.).Organise and, if necessary, inspect works that will be concealed as part of the permanent construction.Identify and agree on defective works with the Contractor, recording them in the site quality systems and CEMAR.Ensure the Contractor rectifies defects within the specified contract timelines. Manage any defects not resolved promptly.Monitor the on-site health and safety aspects of the Contractor's operations, informing the Project Manager of key H&S risks and areas for improvement.Report any on-site safety issues (near misses, dangerous occurrences, unsafe practices) to the Project Manager/Supervisor.What you'll need to succeed:Possess a valid driving licence.Hold a CSCS card and NRSWA supervisor certification.Capable of attending site as required.Proficient with the MCHW - Specification for Highway Works.Extensive relevant experience in the Highway and Bridge sector, including leading supervision and technical teamsIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
