VIQU have partnered with a with one of the UK’s largest Utility companies making huge strides within the green energy market. This role would suit someone coming from a Utilities/ energy background providing management across a large portfolio of projects.

The Project Manager will be manging a series of projects to deliver modifications/ upgrades to substation protection and control systems for the customers in the Power Transmission industry.

Essential Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • Eligable for security clearance 
  • Understanding of NEC3/ 4 Contracts and how they are used within Project Management / Planning.
  • Proven experience within a one of the following industries: Nuclear, energy, power transmission or similar.
  • Demonstratable experience scheduling and planning work activities with Microsoft Project.
  • Confident working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • UK driving license and prepared to travel to client sites.
  • Must have demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction and quality.

Role Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Responsible of managing multiple projects from inception to delivery within timescale, up to £600k.
  • Make sure the project is delivered within budget, timescale and meeting customer satisfactions.
  • Responsible for all the environmental, health & safety and quality aspects of the projects.
  • Hold regular progress and report meetings with stakeholders.
