Building Safety Manager
Home based with travel across England and South Wales

Our client, a leading provider of on-campus residential and academic accommodation infrastructure, has an exciting opportunity for a Building Safety Manager to join their Technical Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Engagement & Safety: Visit high-rise and high-risk residential buildings to build and maintain strong relationships with residents, recording and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties, particularly those in scope of the Building Safety Act 2022, meet regulatory requirements and comply with industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Collaborate with internal teams, local authorities, regulatory bodies, and supply chain partners to maintain building safety and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in building safety management, with a deep understanding of the Building Safety Act and associated legislation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with residents, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to maintain the integrity of building safety cases.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, codes of practice, and regulations relating to fire and building safety.
