Data Platform Developer
Remote Role
Permanent Role: £60k Plus Package
We have partnered with a global pharmaceutical manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Data Platform Developer to play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and availability of critical data, such as customer, product, and supplier information across the business.
Responsibilities of the Data Platform Developer:
- Develop solutions with the xDI platform to realise business value.
- Build and implement projects/models within xDI as part of new solutions, under the guidance of the Product Owner.
- Collaborate with the platform administrator to ensure the platform remains fit for purpose.
- Work with Product Owners to deliver a prioritised backlog.
- Resolve bugs and issues with existing xDI solutions promptly.
- Coordinate with IT vendors to escalate product-related bugs, issues, or enhancement requests.
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines for the deployment of xDI solutions.
- Transform business requirements into working solutions within the xDI platform.
Skills & Experience Required for The Data Platform Developer:
- Strong technical expertise in developing solutions within the xDI platform.
- Ability to work closely with project teams to implement technical solutions that achieve business objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in communicating effectively and clearly, particularly in delivering complex messages related to bug fixes and workarounds.
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing requests and balance project work with business-as-usual tasks.
- Expertise in xDI best practices, including code maintenance and DevOps pipelines.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions within the Semarchy xDI platform.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable data models and ensuring data quality and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Experience in managing DevOps pipelines and maintaining existing xDI projects, including product enhancements and bug fixes.
