The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Planning Manager to take a strategic role in optimising our paid channels and improving ROI across all digital media. The ideal candidate will have experience managing PPC, affiliates, paid social media, and TV campaigns, as well as a deep understanding of aggregators and performance-based marketing. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, delivering strong ROI, managing end-to-end digital campaigns, and leading a team to achieve strategic marketing goals. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Paid Media Optimisation: Lead efforts to optimize paid media channels, including PPC, affiliates, paid social media, and TV, ensuring maximum ROI and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of digital campaigns, from strategy to execution to performance analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs. 
  • Aggregator Management: Utilise knowledge of aggregators to drive performance and improve visibility across paid media platforms, focusing on the delivery of high-quality leads and conversions. 
  • Performance Analysis & Strategy: Continuously analyse campaign performance across all channels, identifying areas for improvement, and making strategic recommendations for optimisation. 
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively across various paid media channels to maximise ROI and achieve campaign objectives. 
  • Agency Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, ensuring efficient collaboration and successful campaign execution. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support a Digital Marketing Executive, providing mentorship, guidance, and direction to ensure the team meets performance goals and continues to develop professionally. 
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans to drive traffic, conversions, and overall business growth. Ensure alignment with broader marketing and company strategies. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including creative, content, analytics, and product teams, to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Paid Media Expertise: Strong experience in optimising PPC, paid social, affiliates, and TV media channels, with a proven track record of improving ROI and campaign performance. 
  • Aggregator Knowledge: Deep understanding of how aggregators work and how to leverage them for better campaign performance and visibility. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Ability to analyse complex data and use insights to drive actionable recommendations that improve campaign performance. 
  • Digital Campaign Experience: Proven experience running end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, including strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting. 
  • People Management: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team, fostering growth and productivity in a collaborative environment. 
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically while also executing the tactical aspects of campaigns to ensure goals are met. 
  • Agency Relationship Management: Experience managing and working with external agencies to ensure seamless campaign delivery and performance. 
  • Budget Management: Strong experience managing significant marketing budgets with a focus on maximising ROI. 
  • Passion for Pets: A genuine love for pets and an alignment with our company’s mission to improve the welfare of animals. 

Desired Experience

  • Insurance Experience (Preferred): Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable, as the role involves working in a similar market environment. 
  • Digital Marketing Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally digital, particularly within paid media and campaign management. 
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrated ability to optimise and drive performance across a variety of digital channels
