Are you a self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail? Our client is currently seeking a Digital Print/Production Operative to join their team. As an Operative, you will be responsible for running onsite digital presses, producing accurate and timely printed materials that meet customer requirements.

Previous experience of working within the print industry is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate on-site digital presses in accordance with operating procedures, ensuring accurate and timely production.
  • Manage workload effectively, meeting delivery requirements with excellent time management skills.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and promptly resolve any machine breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Identify and implement ideas to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Production and quality-focused with experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to be cross trained on various print and finishing equipment.
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to getting the job done.
  • Knowledge of digital colour/mono and the ability to adjust as needed, is desirable.
  • Basic familiarity with finishing equipment like wire binding, booklet makers, and folding machines would be an advantage.
