Location: Aylesbury (HP20)
Rate: 120 - 175 per day
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Class Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners with Autism Condition/Autism Spectrum Disorder who find mainstream settings challenging. The role requires a teacher with excellent classroom management skills who can create a positive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH learners
* Foster a supportive and structured classroom atmosphere
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support student progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN specialists
* Build strong relationships with students to encourage engagement and learning
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (essential)
* Experience working with SEMH learners is highly desirable, alternatively, strong behaviour management experience will be considered
* A patient, calm, and adaptable approach to teaching
* A commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
