Are you someone who has great attention to detail?  Have you got previous experience working in events, travel or even as a PA?  Would you like the opportunity to work with a supportive and friendly team? Our client is an award-winning software company who aim to provide a wide range of services across the UK, both to the public and across private sectors. They are now in search of a Travel and Events Administrator, working on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, part-time around 25-30 hours per week. The successful candidate will have previously worked within events, travel management or even as a personal assistant, organising Directors or Senior Leaderships diaries. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business who can offer support and a friendly working environment.  Key Responsibilities
  • Organise Directors and Senior Leadership Team meetings & events, sourcing suitable venues, arranging accommodation and organising food & travel.
  • Be the main contact for coordinating travel and events for the business within the UK.
  • Assisting with the group accommodation for employees attending their Scottish and Welsh conferences.
  • Support off-site meetings as and when required.
  • Help with organising the annual company event.
  • Build and manage relationships with the travel providers, suppliers of venues and any catering services.
  • Organise any oversea travel arrangements, accommodation and ensure all administrative duties are completed for employees attending overseas conferences.
  • Ensure pool or hire cars are part of the employees travel package.
  • Occasionally provide administrative support across the business.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience working in corporate events or travel management or as a PA.
  • Prior experience working with 3rd party suppliers/venues.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone manners and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and highly communicable.
  • Self-starter, conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic.
Additional Information
  • 12 months Fixed Term Contract.
  • Monday – Friday, 25/30hours, part-time (flexible working).
  • Salary between £27,500 - £30,000 (pro-rata).
