- To be part of a highly motivated and flexible team to provide cohesive support to the corporate management team and / or Members, with an ability to multitask and react to changes in priorities to ensure effective delivery of tasks to deadlines.Â
- To ensure that the Member can operate as efficiently as possible by anticipating their needs, forward planning and ensuring effective use of their time.
- To act as first point of contact for the Member(s) proactively dealing with incoming enquiries, invitations, complaints, and correspondence.
- Manage meetings efficiently, handling corporate documents, including sensitive and confidential information appropriately, ensuring papers are collated and circulated in the timescales given.
- Provide business support to meetings including minute taking. Minutes are recorded accurately, and actions are chased, and action logs updated as required.
- Take the lead on arranging meetings, conferences, and other events as required; organising all logistics through to completion and keeping key stakeholders informed.Â
- Dealing with complaints and compliments as directed and in conjunction with Central Complaints Team where appropriate.
- Previous PA or EA experience supporting senior level management is essential
- Previous experience within a big organisation is preferred
- Local Authority/Public Sector experience is preferred but not essential
