You will provide high quality, proactive and flexible executive support to the Corporate Management team, providing advice to colleagues, effective communication to internal and external partners, and resolving issues, queries & escalations efficiently and effectivelyTemporary – This is a six month contract with potential to go permanentHours – Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week (rota based between 8:00 and 18:00)Pay Rate – £17.61 per hour PAYEStart Date – ASAPWork Schedule – Fully office basedLocation – Based at the Gateway offices in Aylesbury, HP19 8FFAbout the roleAs an Executive Assistant, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
  • To be part of a highly motivated and flexible team to provide cohesive support to the corporate management team and / or Members, with an ability to multitask and react to changes in priorities to ensure effective delivery of tasks to deadlines. 
  • To ensure that the Member can operate as efficiently as possible by anticipating their needs, forward planning and ensuring effective use of their time.
  • To act as first point of contact for the Member(s) proactively dealing with incoming enquiries, invitations, complaints, and correspondence.
  • Manage meetings efficiently, handling corporate documents, including sensitive and confidential information appropriately, ensuring papers are collated and circulated in the timescales given.
  • Provide business support to meetings including minute taking. Minutes are recorded accurately, and actions are chased, and action logs updated as required.
  • Take the lead on arranging meetings, conferences, and other events as required; organising all logistics through to completion and keeping key stakeholders informed. 
  • Dealing with complaints and compliments as directed and in conjunction with Central Complaints Team where appropriate.
About youThe successful candidate(s) must have:
  • Previous PA or EA experience supporting senior level management is essential
  • Previous experience within a big organisation is preferred
  • Local Authority/Public Sector experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ideally live close to Aylesbury
