Interim Head of Financial Planning and Analysis - 100% Remote

My client is a private equity-backed company experiencing rapid growth and operating in a fast-paced, highly acquisitive environment. We are seeking an Interim FP&A Manager to support the FP&A team and Head of Finance. This role is crucial in driving the financial performance of the business and supporting their ambitious growth plans. I am especially interested in hearing from individuals that have worked in an acquisition driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounts Preparation:Prepare and present monthly management accounts.

Budgeting:Prepare budgets for new acquisitions.Support the implementation of a new budgeting system.

Private Equity Support:Provide timely and accurate information to my client's private equity partners.Assist with various ad hoc information requests.

KPI Reporting and Performance Analysis:Develop and maintain KPI reports.Conduct performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Ad Hoc Requirements:Address various ad hoc financial requirements as they arise.

Essential Skills and Experience

FP&A Background:Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).Proven track record in an acquisitive, private equity-backed environment.

Technical Skills:Experience in preparing management accounts and budgets.Knowledge of KPI reporting and performance analysis.

Software Implementation:Experience with implementing new budgeting software.

Multi-Site Experience:Previous experience in a multi-site operation is advantageous.

Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

Personal Attributes

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
