We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice who are looking to recruit a Level 4 Diploma Qualified Paraplanner to join their team in their Aylesbury office. This role offers hybrid working.

Role

The role will report to the Head of Paraplanning, and the key areas of the role are as follows: ï‚Ÿ

  • Analyse client information and existing investments/plans
  • Tax calculations (IHT/CGT/bonds etc)
  • Construct appropriate solutions for clients in conjunction with the advisers
  • Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
  • Run Cashflow models for clients
  • Be a point of contact for technical queries for CS and advisers
  • Communicating with clients on research and report time scales
  • Attend client meetings where required
  • Helping to train other members of the team
  • Potentially getting involved in some project work to further improve our systems and processes
  • Leading Pod meetings
  • Undertake peer reviews for the paraplanning team

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
  • Think client when writing a report to ensure the report is client friendly and easy to digest
  • Taking ownership of the clients experience by ensuring you effectively manage your cases throughout the process (from the meeting booked date)
  • Ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the advice process
  • Take responsibility for the data in our systems to ensure it is accurate and up to date
  • Work collaboratively with advisers on cases (offering ideas and options)
  • Ensure all e-mails, research documents and report drafts are saved to our file storage system with meaningful titles
  • Actively participating in Paraplanner meetings
  • Strive to meet all points on the PP service charter

Person

  • Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products
  • Experience within the financial services industry and have had at least 3 years Paraplanning experience ï‚Ÿ Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Logical mind
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with departments across the business as well as clients
  • Being comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Being a good team player and offering to help the team where you can
  • Be organised and able to manage a busy workload
