Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join the HS2 EKFB Project in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, overseeing key elements of heavy civils, earthworks, drainage, and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor progress, report on site activities, and liaise with senior management.
- Assist in problem-solving and adapting plans to meet project demands.
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship on all tasks.
Requirements:
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification (Essential)
- CSCS Card (Gold/Black)
- Safety Critical Medical
- Strong background in heavy civils, earthworks, drainage, and structures or ideally HS2
- Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects (HS2 experience is a plus)
- Ability to lead teams effectively and maintain strong communication with stakeholders
