Our client is well-established and leaders in their field, they are recruiting for a Yard Hand / Forklift Driver to join their growing team!

Yard Hand/ Forklift Driver Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out production duties provided by Production Supervisors
• Ensure that all bins are emptied and all forms of waste are removed from the shop floor areas
• All pallets are removed from the factory and stored outside, or off-cuts of wood are stored in the relevant racks
• Flammable liquids or chemicals on the shop floor are stored in approved locations
• All scrap materials are kept within the relevant scrap containers and appropriately controlled
• All gangways and working areas are kept clean and free from obstructions
• To assist in with spares assembly work when required
• To assist with the packaging, loading and un-loading of goods

The ideal Yard Hand/ Forklift Driver will:

• Experience of working in a yard environment in a manufacturing company
• A counterbalance forklift licence
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools

Working Hours + Benefits:

• 7am to 3.30pm, Mondays and Tuesdays
• 7am to 3pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• 7am to 2pm on Fridays all with a 30 mins unpaid break
• 25 days holiday
