Freightserve recruitment are looking for experienced Customs people for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Aylesbury area.

Daily Duties:-

- To ensure the Customs Clearances are fully compliant with all HMRC & Border Force's legal regulation.- To be pro-active in resolving any HMRC/Border Force related queries/problems- Ensuring full compliance of all documentation and all HMRC/Border Force updates, either via systems or manual.- Maintain accurate filing & archiving of all Import & Export records and ensure all relevant records for operating- Demonstrate high levels of Customer care and excellent interpersonal skills.- Dealing with Carriers and handling agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise.--Organise schedules, track deliveries and deal with problems arising from non-deliveries and issues that may be delicate.- Answer general queries from customers and suppliers.Required experience:-- Good working knowledge of customs formalities and legislation on both import and export and good understanding of CFSP & ETSF- Knowledge of NCTS or CDS would be advantageous but not essential.- Must have good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, E-Customs.- Knowledge of customs procedure and laws- Your own transport due to the location

Working hours are; Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700
