Teknikal Specialist Recruitment are now recruiting for a Technical Import/Export Administrator who will be responsible for liaising with third parties to ensure smooth movement of shipments to Europe and globally. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of export laws, regulations and trade agreements. Import/Export Administrator Duties -

• Ensuring Import compliance requirements are met and Export documentation are in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Handling enquiries and resolving any issues.
• License administration (register of exports, annual reporting, obtaining certifications & reviewing licenses)
• Updating systems records and creating reports using data and statistics.
• Approving manual shipments and freight invoicing.
• Working closely with shippers, custom agents and freight forwarders.

• Track, record and manage shipping expenses, looking for ways to optimise costs.

Import/Export Administrator Requirements -

• Strong knowledge of Import/Export laws and regulations.
• Experience from a technical background (Defence, Automotive, construction, Engineering
• Experience working with custom procedures and a good understanding of best practices especially within Europe.
• Ideally experience with export licensing for UK & Europe.
• Fantastic analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation.
