Pay Rates: £21 - £23 per hour

Role Overview:

  • Work within a 22-bedded unit at Olympic Lodge, providing physiotherapy to patients who are medically fit for discharge (MFFD) but do not require acute care.
  • Treat patients with a wide variety of conditions, working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and external agencies to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning.
  • Provide physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation to patients awaiting discharge.
  • Ensure holistic care is provided in line with individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions tailored to the needs of patients in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Work alongside social services, nursing teams, and external agencies to coordinate discharge planning.
  • Contribute to MDT meetings and patient care planning.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or students within the team.
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
