Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant school community in Bierton.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them develop positive behaviour and social skills
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and counsellors to create and implement individualised behaviour plans
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that promotes personal growth and academic success
  • Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and addressing behavioural issues promptly and effectively
  • Encourage and support the overall wellbeing of students, helping them build resilience and self-esteem

 

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • You have a genuine interest in helping students overcome challenges and succeed
  • Prior experience working with children or young people, especially in an educational setting, is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to think on your feet and develop creative solutions to behavioural issues
  • Collaborative mindset, ready to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student development
  • Able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, adapting strategies as needed
