We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Sport to join our team at the Buckinghamshire. This role is available on a full-time basis, involving 24 hours of teaching and 11 hours of administrative duties per week, or on a part-time basis for those available only two days a week (Thursday and Friday), involving 14 hours of teaching and 4 hours of administrative duties.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures in sports studies to students at various levels.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain student attendance records and other necessary documentation.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support students through academic advising and mentoring.
  • For part-time roles, specifically focus on delivering content and managing administrative tasks during the designated days.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Sports Science or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or equivalent experience in a teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of sports theory and practical applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Organisational skills to manage teaching and administrative responsibilities effectively.
