We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Sport to join our team at the Buckinghamshire. This role is available on a full-time basis, involving 24 hours of teaching and 11 hours of administrative duties per week, or on a part-time basis for those available only two days a week (Thursday and Friday), involving 14 hours of teaching and 4 hours of administrative duties.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in sports studies to students at various levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student attendance records and other necessary documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Support students through academic advising and mentoring.
- For part-time roles, specifically focus on delivering content and managing administrative tasks during the designated days.
- Degree in Sports Science or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or equivalent experience in a teaching role.
- Strong knowledge of sports theory and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
