What You’ll Be Doing:As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic services. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting histology lab tests and preparing tissue samples for analysis
  • Performing microtomy, embedding, and staining procedures
  • Maintaining high laboratory standards and proper handling of specimens
  • Collaborating with senior staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Contributing to the development and application of quality control protocols
  • Working within multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in Histology, particularly with microtomy and embedding
  • Strong understanding of laboratory testing and specimen preparation techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to delivering efficient, high-quality laboratory services
  • Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week, and offers some flexibility when needed. The initial contract duration is 3 months, with the possibility of rolling extensions based on performance and service requirements.
