Our client, a prominent provider in the construction industry, is currently seeking a Supervisor to start work on a HS2 project in Aylesbury. This is a contract role with an anticipated start date around 21st October 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction-related projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Coordinate daily activities of blue-collar workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Ensure all equipment and materials are used effectively and maintained properly
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on site
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, resources used, and time management
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- SSSTS is essential
- SEQOHS Medical is essential
- EKFB Induction is advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards
- Proven ability to supervise on projects and coordinate teams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
