Yard Transport Supervisor - HaddenhamPertemps Aylesbury is recruiting for a Yard Transport Supervisor to join our logistics client based in Haddenham.Salary: up to £32,000 (DOE)Hours: 5 am-5 pmDuties:- Process inbound & outbound trunk vehicles. Scan loads and report any discrepancies on the freight.- Loading of freight onto or off of our delivery vehicles using load sheet manifests- Manage morning loading operation to ensure collection vehicles are unloaded- Keeping warehouse & loading yard clean and tidy at all times- Daily Pre-use forklift checks to be carried out- Report to the depot Manage and work with the team to ensure all requirements are carried out and suggest any improvements.- Ensure all health & safety and fire instructions, safe systems of work and risk assessments are adhered to at all times.- Assisting with the warehouse fulfilment operation when requiredRequirements:- In-Date Counterbalance Forklift Licence and at least 2 years' experience- Ability to work in a team and individually- A methodical and thorough approach to work ensuring instructions is followed closely- Organised and attention to detail- A desire to show initiative- Good at juggling tasks and prioritising- The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.- Reliability and honesty.- High energy and enthusiasm, someone who thrives in a busy environment.If you would be interested, please apply or call Corinne at Pertemps.
