Picking and Packing Operative

Thorne and Wait Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Picking and Packing Operative for our client based just outside Aylesbury. They are looking for someone to join the warehouse team who is capable of picking orders, checking stock and cleanliness of workplace. The candidate needs to be an innovative and dependable operative.Duties include: • Report stock differences on the picking list, general warehouse duties including cleanliness and work in a proactive way.• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesCandidate Specification• Always Adhering to health and safety.• Check the quantity and quality of the incoming and outgoing goods.• Equipment maintenance, inventory control.• Good spatial awareness.• Attention to details and ability to operate and control equipment.• Experience in meat handling• Knowledge in stocking, stacking, packing, critical thinkingPersonal Qualities:• Flexible & open minded.• Excellent Communication and fluent in English.• Positive, Committed, and adaptable individual.• Flexible to manage changing shifts hours in line with company growthMonday – Friday. 7am - 4pmIf you or anyone you know is looking for work and believe that this role and company is for you.
