We are seeking a Faculty Director for Construction & Technology, responsible for leading a high-quality learning experience for students every day. This role involves strategic leadership across the faculty, enhancing curriculum planning, design, and delivery to achieve exceptional student outcomes and progression.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead strategic management of teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure the highest quality.
  • Innovate in curriculum planning, design, delivery, and review to meet all stakeholder needs.
  • Manage a team of curriculum managers, aligning their responsibilities with college strategies.
  • Ensure the curriculum is inclusive and meets individual student needs and progression aims.
  • Maintain compliance with college processes, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Uphold and promote the college values of ambition, integrity, innovation, and respect.
  • Engage in and support professional development for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the college positively both within and outside the college environment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and performance measures in departmental work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Vocational/technical/professional qualification at least Level 3.
  • Teaching/education/leadership qualification at least Level 5.
  • Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of vocational areas and education training.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, including budget management and strategic planning.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse teams.
