Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
- Create well-structured lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Stay up to date with advancements in technology and incorporate innovative methods into your teaching.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, sharing updates on student progress and achievements.
- Participate in wider school activities, collaborating with staff to support both student development and school initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, particularly at KS3 and KS4.
- A thorough understanding of the national curriculum, with the ability to design engaging and challenging lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and teaching excellence.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check and up-to-date professional references.
