EYFS level 2 Teaching Assistant/ Unqualified

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2/unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” school in the Aston Clinton area. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. However, unquailed and general teaching assistants are welcome to apply.

The role:
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with our educational philosophy
- Provide individual support to children aged 2-5 years, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and interests
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration
- Assist in the creation and organization of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements
- Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team
- Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation
The ideal candidate:
- Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
- However, unqualified Teaching Assistant welcome to apply
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in an early years setting is desirable
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
