IT Service Support Analyst (FTC-18Month) is required by a leading financial institution based in Aylesbury and paying up to £40k. This individual will have solid experience providing specialised support and will be the first-contact support to users and manage various ITIL-based service processes. You will work closely with the existing Team of 4 whilst the company works through its Cloud Migration Project. Communicating with 3rd party IT suppliers, responding to cyber-security alerts, and support end-users across a range of IT functions are just a number of duties you will be responsible for.

Responsibilities

  • Handling requests, and managing assets, changes, and problems following ITIL protocols.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party IT infrastructure suppliers and other service providers as needed.
  • Communicate IT system and service activities to relevant business areas.
  • Conduct Information Security and Data Protection control checks.
  • Respond to Cyber Security alerts from the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Triage service requests, raise tickets, and manage service queues with internal and external IT teams.
  • Oversee and report on incident, request, change, and problem management with 3rd party technology suppliers.
  • Support the deployment and usage of desktop devices and tools, providing technical support to end-users.
  • Maintain and update hardware and software inventories.
  • Monitor real-time email security controls.
  • Assist with technology roll-outs for infrastructure implementations, including providing user training and briefing sessions.
  • Manage user on-boarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring IT induction training for new joiners and completing exit procedures for leavers.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience with ITIL-based service processes.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with third-party providers and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Information Security, Data Protection, and Cyber Security principles.
  • Experience with risk analysis and incident escalation.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software inventory management.
  • Familiarity with real-time security controls and SOC alerts.
  • Ability to provide user training and technical support.
