IT Support Engineer

Location: Aylesbury | Hybrid working Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE + Benefits

Are you a skilled IT professional passionate about delivering exceptional technical support and taking part in projects? Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their growing technology team. In this hybrid role, you'll provide high-quality 1st and 2nd line support to clients, both remotely and on-site, helping them optimise their IT systems and solve technical challenges.

What You'll Do:Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for client IT systems.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.Configure and manage Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016+).Support small business networking, including SME-grade routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.Conduct IT health checks and visit client sites (within a 30-minute drive, with occasional longer trips).Assist with IT upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:Expertise in Microsoft 365 admin centres (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Server systems.Networking experience (SME-grade routers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).Proven field support experience and a valid driving licence.Solid IT troubleshooting skills, including remote support tools.

Desirable Skills:Knowledge of Intune or MDM solutions.Experience with VoIP systems.Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365).PowerShell scripting expertise for Microsoft 365 environments.
