Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer aka 3rd Line Support Engineer, Senior IT Support Engineer, IT Systems Administrator, 3rd Line, 4th Line, Senior IT Service Desk Engineer
Salary: £40k - £48k base DOE + impressive benefits
Location: You will be based out of our Princes Risborough Office 5 days a week, with travel to school sites when required (Mileage payments covered)
You will be providing comprehensive IT Support services for schools across IT infrastructure, networks and cloud computing technologies such as Azure. You will be the final escalation point and the go to person for the wider service desk and 3rd line team. This is an exciting role for someone who loves troubleshooting deep-rooted IT issues, acting quickly and efficiently, ensuring that disruption to learning in schools is minimal. We are preferably looking for someone with IT Support experience in an education environment, but this is not essential. The technologies you will be supporting include Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google workspace, Virtualisation including the likes of VMware and Hyper-V, cloud (Azure) and on prem networking technologies. You will have previous experience managing high pressure situations, especially in a major incident environment.
