My client, who are a global leading manufacturer of fire protection technology and equipment, is looking to hire an IT Support Engineer with some experience in ERP systems, to join their team at their UK Head Office based in Bentham.

As an IT Support Engineer based in Bentham, this role requires a proactive individual who can support the IT infrastructure, assist with ERP management, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT operations.

The main responsibilities for the IT Support Engineer position, based in Bentham are:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues through the in-house ServiceDesk application.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting system and network issues.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • Provable experience in IT support and administration.
  • Any relevant IT Certification (IT Administration, App Development, Security) would be a benefit.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
  • Some knowledge of ERP systems (e.G., SAP , BAAN SyteLine , Cloudsuite) would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
