Senior Manufacturing Engineer - £45k-£55k - Buckinghamshire - Electro-MechanicalPlatform Recruitment has partnered with a company that specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of electro-mechanical instruments. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they're looking to grow the engineering team with a passionate Senior Manufacturing Engineer to implement the necessary changes to streamline and improve their production processes of a new manufacturing facility.Main Duties:+ Improve the manufacturability of current products+ Improve component and product quality+ Preparation and maintenance of work instructions & test procedures+ Design and assemble custom tooling for new & existing products+ Develop, monitor and improve the production process for new & existing products+ Calibrate and maintain test equipment & toolingExperience:+ Ideally degree educated in relevant field+ Background in electro-mechanical product development, manufacture and test+ Experience of lean, cellular manufacturing & Kaizen continuous improvement+ Experience in the design & validation of custom tooling+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings+ Experience in design & manufacture of regulated industriesThe salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
