Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a Soft Services background?  Are you currently looking after national accounts and looking to reduce your geographical patch? You will be working as an Operations manager for an established cleaning contractor that are based in Aylesbury but operate across London and the Home Counties and are looking for someone to manage 15 Area Managers across a variety of contracts and ideally you will be based within 30 miles of Aylesbury

Ideally you will have experience managing blue chips client and you will manage your own diary but will be expected to attend sites regularly to ensure standards are being met and service levels are met. One of your key responsibilities will be driving the business forward and helping the company to grow even further.

The company is well established and has excellent opportunities for career development and progression with an employee friendly, flexible culture.  They are an SME who have had fantastic organic growth over the last few years and have plans to grow even further, they have an incredibly low turnover of staff with a high proportion of their staff working for them for 10-20 years and this role is due to growth.

Your Role

  • Responsibility for contract /cleaner performance to achieve and exceed contract SLA and KPI
  • Client Relationship management with key focus on service delivery, retention, and contract growth
  • Responsible for managing financial budgets 
  • Attend training and meetings as required.                                 
  • Implementation of all company policies and procedures 
  • Site visits. In line with client contractual requirement,
  • Pre-sale involvement before contract becomes operational, attending new client site meetings with Business Development Managers, managing TUPE transfer and recruitment of operatives
  • Contract mobilisations
  • Deliver in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service.
  • Manage onsite FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team.
  • Provide a key interface between on-site client and the contracted service providers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Any other ad hoc duties and tasks required

About you

  • Experience of managing multiple cleaning sites & contracts at Operations Manager level 
  • Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff
  • Experience of motivating, managing and leading cleaning teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving licence

Location

You will ideally be based within 30 miles of Aylesbury
