Family Law Secretary

My client is a modern and friendly law firm experiencing rapid growth in Buckinghamshire. They are looking for a Family Law Secretary to support the Head of Family with a diverse caseload. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, has prior experience in a similar role, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Prepare legal documents and manage administration using the case management system.
  • Answer and handle queries over the phone with professionalism and care.
  • Provide varied support for divorce and financial settlements, separation, cohabitation, children, and nuptial agreements.
  • Perform general office duties including photocopying, filing, and scanning.
  • Offer reception support as required, maintaining a welcoming environment for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a legal secretary, specifically in Family Law.
  • Proficient in touch, audio, and digital dictation typing 
  • Skilled in the production of letters and legal documents.
  • IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and enjoyable work environment.
