The Role:

We are looking for a Distribution Partner Manager to join our growing Field Team to support our Digital Distribution Partners including Microchip partners, PMS partners, Health Plan providers, Buying groups and others.

Working across all species and in various sectors and industries, you’ll identify potential partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements and build collaborative relationships, as well as support and develop existing partnerships.

You’ll be excited by selling into new markets, strategising next steps, negotiating complex deals and winning business!

With previous experience of the small animal/equine industry at client or partner management level, you’ll be an expert communicator and confident at developing and executing strategy plans successfully.

Please note this is a field based role and frequent travel will be required, including some overnight and weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take ownership of the Channel Distribution Partnership Objectives and Goals ensuring all metrics are SMART.  
  • Use market data, statistics and trends to establish sales goals, KPI’s and successful strategies growth.
  • Work closely with marketing and adjust plans accordingly when required.
  • Prepare annual/monthly sales forecasts and reports.
  • Track and analyse sales data to find strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan to support findings.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities and conduct market research, assessing alignment with organisational goals and values.
  • Create partnership proposals and strategies to approach potential partners and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners monitoring the progress and success of these partnerships against predefined metrics.
  • Analyse partnership data and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance partnership outcomes and address challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership objectives with organisational goals.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and senior management to gain support for partnerships.
  • Present partnership plans and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Attend and support at events and conferences across the UK and Europe, being the ‘Face’ of Agria.
  • Engage and onboard Partners who can support the business growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working at a client or partner management level within the small animal and equine industry – a good understanding of the animal world
  • Experience of working to performance targets and be motivated to bring in new business
  • An understanding of the microchipping process would be advantageous
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Technically minded
