Do you have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and making a positive impact? Our client is currently seeking a Waste Porter to join their team and ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of their site. In this role, you will be responsible for managing waste containers by properly filling, emptying, and safely manoeuvring them.
What we're looking for:
- A completed DBS check (required for this role)
- Availability to start immediately
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes)
This is a temporary position with an immediate start following DBS clearance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with the opportunity for overtime after training and once you're comfortable in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect general waste from designated areas
- Ensure proper segregation of waste according to site guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of waste disposal equipment
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport waste between different compounds on-site
